Our Story
After a few trips to Cozumel, we realized we wanted something different—not just another all-inclusive. So, off to the internet we went… and honestly, nothing sparked our interest.
Then my husband remembered an old high school friend who always said, “You’ve GOT to go to Coconuts!” We knew it was on the east side, but the idea of catching a taxi or booking a big group excursion didn’t really excite us. That’s when we started looking for something more personal.
One lazy Sunday while scrolling Facebook, I noticed a page called Cozumel Local Excursion had liked a few of my travel photos. I thought, why not ask? So I messaged them:
👉 “Can you take us to Coconuts? And how much?”
To my surprise, they replied immediately:
👉 “Yes! And where else would you like to go?”
Wait… I had options?! 🤯
They suggested Punta Morena Beach, Coconuts, and Welcome to Miami—and we were IN. They stayed in touch, answered all my (many) questions, and gave us peace of mind leading up to our cruise.
When the day came, we nervously walked outside the port gates—but everything was just as they promised. We met Ernie, jumped into our “Mexican Ferrari” 🚗💨, and the island adventure began!
The moment we turned the corner by Señor Iguanas and saw that breathtaking blue water… we knew our lives had changed forever. 💙
By the end of the tour, my husband was already saying, “We’re doing that again. Ernie’s our guide for life.”
Fast forward a bit, and we had the incredible opportunity to partner with Ernie and turn that love of the island into something more.
